Male Breast Reduction
Gynecomastia is excessive swelling or growth of men's chests, resulting in a feminine appearance. It is not a disease - some men just have more breast tissue or chest fat than others. Although the issue frequently resolves itself as one grows into adulthood, it may make men self-conscious and uncomfortable.

Dr. Salas appreciates how distressing this condition can be, and recognizes how much resolving it can boost self-esteem. It is one of his most popular procedures for men, and gynecomastia is estimated to affect nearly half of men over their lifetime. A natural looking result is extremely important for this surgery, and Dr. Salas focuses on this in particular.

Liposuction for Men
As we get older, even the best diet and exercise regimes may not be enough to protect us from love handles, and a flabby, unattractive midsection. Liposuction is a fantastic way to remove resistant pockets of fat. This can be combined with abdominal etching to produce a muscular 'six-pack' abdomen.

Facial Rejuvenation for Men
Depending on you age and goals, there are a range of options to restore and enhance a manly appearance. These include non-invasive procedures such as Botox, and chemical peels that have been specifically formulated for male skin. For men looking for a more radical change, we offer facelifts and blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Eyelid surgery is particularly effective in reducing signs of stress and aging. As such, it is ideal in a corporate environment, to help restore an appearance that inspires confidence.

Calf Implants
Arnold Schwarzenegger famously remarked that the calves are the most beautiful muscle on the human body. Strong, well-shaped calves completely transform the appearance of the lower body, conveying power and strength. Unfortunately these are perhaps the most difficult muscles to develop, and many are grossly limited by their genetics - no matter how hard you train, they won't grow. Dr. Salas offers bespoke calf implants, perfectly suited to your frame and goals.

Preparation & Recovery

Each patient will be given specific and tailored instructions regarding preparation for surgery.

Those who smoke run a greater risk of chest infection and the healing wounds in smokers may be slower. For patients who smoke it is advisable to cut down for a week before surgery and to stop smoking completely for three days immediately before the operation. Assumption of Aspirin or blood thinning medication should be avoided before the procedure as it can reduce natural blood clotting after.

Aftercare will vary depending on the procedure you have done. Most body procedures require you to wear a compression garment for a minimum of 6 weeks to prevent fluid accumulation.
